THE AESOP Series
By Arlene Graston

The legendary editor Paul Gottlieb of Abrams art publishing thought that Aesop’s Fables were a natural fit for Arlene.  His idea was to call the book THE OPTIMISTIC AESOP, but though Arlene created new versions of a dozen fables, illustrated below, ironically the project never came to fruition (the rights are still available). While everyone will recognize THE LION AND MOUSE and the TORTOISE AND THE HARE below, other stories will enchant children and wise adults anew.  Please contact us for further details. Originals and limited edition prints may be available.
